Update caused the ‘white screen of death’ on the login screen. Had to disable the plugin through FTP. Please update your plugin to address this.

    Hi @gregsgraphics,

Thanks for reaching out. Can I grab some environmental details from you please, to allow me to do some testing on our end? I’d like to run some tests to determine what could be causing this. If you could reply back here with the following information we can work on mirroring your setup and try to replicate that undesirable behavior.

    – What theme is currently installed?
    – What other plugins are active?
    – What version of WordPress is being used?
    – What version of PHP is installed?
    – What version of WooCommerce MailChimp is installed?
    – What version of WooCommerce are you running?
    – What MySQL version is installed?
    – What is your WP memory limit?

Thanks! We look forward to hearing back and helping out.

    Warm Regards,

    Pearl

    Hey @gregsgraphics,

Thanks for getting back to us with all of that additional information! I went ahead and enabled the majority of the listed plugins, but did not install the mentioned theme. So far I’ve been unable to replicate the issue, but we are still testing and narrowing things down. To help expedite the process, could you temporarily switch to the free Twenty Fourteen theme and let us know if the issue persists? That would at least allow us to rule out your current theme as a potential culprit. In the meantime I’ll go ahead and pass along the rest of these environmental details to our developers to take a closer look at and run some additional tests on their end.

    Thanks again,

    Pearl

    Hey @gregsgraphics,

I just wanted to check back in and see if you had any success with the plugin after temporarily changing the WordPress theme. Please feel free to get back to us with that detail at your convenience, and we’ll continue investigating this odd behavior on our end. A screenshot of any errors or error messages would be even better, if possible.

    Thanks!

    Pearl

Same issue here, I get white screen of death when trying to put API to connect Mailchimp..

    Hey @kesly13,

Thanks for joining the conversation. Do you mind replying back here with those same requested details about your specific set up? That would allow us to narrow this behavior down a bit and determine if this may be an environmental conflict as well. To re-cap, we are requesting the following information:

    – What theme is currently installed?
    – What other plugins are active?
    – What version of WordPress is being used?
    – What version of PHP is installed?
    – What version of WooCommerce MailChimp is installed?
    – What version of WooCommerce are you running?
    – What MySQL version is installed?
    – What is your WP memory limit?

As soon as I get that information I can go ahead and pass that along internally for our developers to take a closer look.

    Thanks!

    Pearl

    Hi @gregsgraphics,

We just recently pushed an update to the plugin that should resolve a few issues we were seeing – do you mind updating to v. 1.1.1 and letting us know if the issue persists? If any weird behavior persists after the update, please feel free to reply back here and I’ll re-open the ticket. And thank you, @kesly13! It looks like you meet the minimum system requirements – updating to the latest version of the plugin should resolve the issue you were seeing as well. But please let us know if you still have any trouble after upgrading! We want to help out as much as we can.

    Thanks again,

    Pearl

I am still getting the same error! I already updated the plugin to the latest version and use a different browser but if I put the API Keys and hit SAVE button, I am getting a white screen on Firefox and HTTP ERROR 500 on Chrome..

    Hey @kesly13,

Thanks for the fast response – could you please reply back with a screenshot of the 500 error you’re seeing, or a paste of the full error response you’re seeing?

I’ll send this information over to the developer as soon as we hear back.

    Pearl

This is how it looks in Chrome

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_QcnpULAkknSmlNbk80RnZIWmc

But in Firefox only white screen.

When I enter the API keys and click save it will redirect to this link and just white screen on Firefox and 500 error on Chrome

Thank you so much for bearing with us and sending us those details – I’ve passed them over to our developers and they are digging in. Thanks again for your patience. I’ll follow up here to gather additional information or send the all clear once a fix has been pushed, whichever is applicable.

    Thank you again!

    What could be done?

    Hey @alfaterra,

Thanks for chiming in here and sharing that information. It looks like one of the plugins active on the site could be causing a conflict with the plugin. I would recommend deactivating the “WooCommerce MailChimp” plugin and trying to load the site again. Since that plugin performs many of the same behaviors as the MailChimp For WooCommerce plugin, it may be causing a conflict that’s bringing down the site.

If you continue seeing unexpected behavior, please create a new post on the Plugin Forums detailing the behavior you’re seeing, and we’ll be glad to help.

    Thanks,
    – Malachite
