White Screen in Debug Mode

  • Hello together,

    i tried to implement the GTM and data layer with the GTM4WP plugin on the shop site. The container ID is GTM-MPVDDJL.
    As it seems the responsible developer already implemented a data layer which does not push any information/parameters.
    Unfortunately this seems to be the reason for the following problem.

    After activating the plugin and running through all settings i tried to test everything in the GTM preview mode. Unfortunately as long as the plugin is activated the site only shows as white screen. I already emptied the cache etc, but that did not help. When i take a look at the code of the site in this state, i can see the data layer the plugin should implement.

    But the site only works again, when i deactivate the plugin which also means, that the data layer is gone again.

    I also tried it with manual placement of the GTM code. But that unfortunately did not solve the data layer problem.

    Any help is kindly appreciated!
