White Screen after updating Code

  • Hello, I tried to add the sitelock logo to my footer code and completely screwed something up. I am using the Easel template. Now I can even view my website (It is completely White screened) and I can’t get back into my html editor. Ummmm……what do i do?

  • were you editing the theme in Appearance > Editor?

    FTP or use your hosts cpanel to grab your footer.php file from your server. Open it locally in a text editor and undo the changes you made. Re-upload it to the server and your site will load fine.
