White Screen after Update

    I am using a Child-Theme of ignite-plus and got a white-screen after the theme-update today (both, front- an backend). I am now running the original plus-theme and can not change back to the child theme with all my customizations. Do I have to change any Settings?

    I want to be sure I understand:

    You had an Ignite Plus child theme active. You updated to the newest version of Ignite Plus and got a white-screen. You switched from the child theme to Ignite Plus and it’s working again.

    Is that right?

    This is usually due to a conflict with a plugin, but I can’t be sure yet.

    That′s right, Ben.

    I could now switch back to the the child theme after deleting its functions.php.

    Changes in the funcions.php of the child theme only seem to work after deleting the code from the original functions.php, is that correct? In that case, theme-updates will always be problematic.

    Hmm okay, glad you found a way around the issue!

    It shouldn’t be a problem what files are included in the child theme. Could you share a copy of your child theme with me? I’d like to try to recreate the problem.
