• The website goes blank white after enabling CriticalCSS.com API. I have tried clearing cache which did not help at all.

I am on cPanel server with Stackpath as CDN. DidI miss something? How do I fix it? I have disabled the “Autoptimize CriticalCSS.com Power-Up” plugin for now.

    that’s … ugly :-/ any errors in your PHP-errorlog?

    Thread Starter FlourishDNA

    (@flourishdna)

@optimizingmatters No php error log. When I right click and try to view the source of the white page it has nothing.

OK, but on the server there might be a log-file which stores PHP errors that cause the white page, can you check in cPanel or with your hoster maybe?

@optimizingmatters This is the only error log I could find.

seems like the server restarted. what -if any- error info is available before [2019-06-04 13:42:14 -0400]?

could this have been a coincidence somehow, that the server reboot/ restart was caused by something else just as you were trying to enable AO CCSS? because I don’t see how enabling AO CCSS could cause a server reboot to be honest .. :-/

@optimizingmatters I contacted KnownHost support team and here is what they said.

Two issues seem to be unrelated to each other. He is talking about the error log that I sent to you earlier.

I confirmed error logging is working by putting a broken php script in, errors were logged to /home/mywebpage/public_html/error_log as expected.

I enabled wp_debug_log as well but the plugin is simply not producing any errors.

I tried PHP 7.3 also but there was no difference.

well, that leaves us with .. nothing, does it. darn ..

OK, re. the white screen; did you get that on the front-end or on wp-admin or both? and on all pages of front- or backend or on a few or one?

    Thread Starter FlourishDNA

    (@flourishdna)

Hi, It looks like there is a conflict with “Ultimate Addons for WPBakery Page Builder
    https://ultimate.brainstormforce.com/ plugin.

    Plugin Author Optimizing Matters

    (@optimizingmatters)

    aha! Interesting!

so if AO CCSS & Ultimate Addons for WPBakery are active, where/ when do you get those white screens?

the main part of my question was “where/ when” ??

did you get that on the front-end or on wp-admin or both? and on all pages of front- or backend or on a few or one?

    Thread Starter FlourishDNA

    (@flourishdna)

@optimizingmatters the blank page shows up on front end and only to the pages where I have added elements from the Ultimate Addons for WPBakery plugin.

    Plugin Author Optimizing Matters

    (@optimizingmatters)

wow .. can you provide me with a URL a page that has Ultimate Addons for WPBakery elements on it (here or via futtta-at-gmail-dot-com)?
