White page of death can't log in.

  • I’m running pcfcmalden.com and it’s giving me white page of death on /wp-admin and /wp-login.php (as well as all the wp pages). I can’t log into the website to do anything that the troubleshooting advises—anyone know what’s up?

    I had a problem similar to this not that long ago. This is what helped me out, courtesy of MacManX (James Huff):

    “Try manually resetting your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).”

    Hi avanviae,

    I can’t do that because I can’t log in to wordpress at all, meaning I can’t get to my plugins page or anything.
