• Hi there
I want to add a subscribe button to my newsletter on my website and have done it on other websites already. So I installed the free plugin and entered the API key. After pressing save the main menu page with the api key field went white and stayed so, even after reinstalling the plugin multiple times, deleting everything of it and even downgrading wordpress from 4.7.1 to 4.7 and still only a white page. The sub menus integration and form builder work perfectly but not the main one. My site is hosted on domain.com in case that is important and I am using a free account of cleverreach.
How can I fix this? Thanks in advance!

  • Hallo,
There are two possibilities that come to my mind now.
    1. Your PHP version should be 5.6 or higher.
    2. Your hosting provider has to have SOAP installed (which should be standard).
To find out more, please enable WP_DEBUG in your wp-config.php then you should see some messages instead of the white screen.

Thank you for your answer, indeed my PHP version was only 5.5 so I upgraded to 5.6. This didn’t fix the problem though.
The problem must be something with SOAP as the error message I get is:Fatal error: “Class ‘SoapClient’ not found”
I don’t know too much about the back end, so how can I fix this? Do I need to fix this in my WordPress configuration or with my hosting company?
