White page after updater to 2.01 from 1.x

    After updating the Glotpress front-end shows a white page.
    Error log has the following error:

    PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare esc_translation() in /var/www/gp-templates/helper-functions.php on line 120" while reading response header from upstream, client: 68.180.229.170, server: myserver.org, request: "GET /projects/myproject-25/de/default/?filters[status]=either&filters[original_id]=7103&filters[translation_id]=416448 HTTP/1.1", host: "myserver.org"

    I deactivated all other plugins to make sure there is no interaction.
