    Hi guys,

I’ve been looking at CRM plugins and yours looks like it might work for us. I have a couple of questions:

    1. Is there a white label option? I need my users to be able to log in and just see our company’s branding / logo.

    2. Is there role based access, i.e. am I able to remove access to certain features for non admins?

    3. Does it share a common customer base with WooCommerce? I.e. are customers created as users just like in WooCommerce? I’d like to be able to use a single customer for both WooCommerce orders and invoices, rather than having 2 separate synced records

    4. Is there a way to sync data from multiple woocommerce stores?

    5. Does it support multicurrency (both in terms of Woocommerce imports, and when creating invoices and quotes etc)? Are exchange rates automatically updated (eg. via openexchangerates)?

    6. Can customers pay for invoices without logging in, like Freshbooks etc? That’s a big one. I read in a review that it isn’t possible?

    7. Does Woocommerce and Paypal sync continue to work automatically in the background after it is initially set up?

    8. Is there a way of deactivating modules we aren’t using (like your planned PBX module, for example) so minimise bloat?

    9. Can we have both paypal *and* stripe payment options enabled to let customers choose between the 2 when checking out? (similar to woocommerce).

    10. Is it possible to use woocommerce as the checkout gateway instead of the built in one?

    11. From the video, it looks like there aren’t any filtering options on the customer page and that the status column is not sortable. Is this something you can add, so there’s an easy way to view just a particular status type (eg. only leads, and then sort that by date etc).

    12. Does the email campaign have any kind of spam and bounceback processing? Eg. does it automatically remove email addresses that bounce, and recognise when users have marked a message as spam?

    Thanks!

    Hi @menathor

Great to hear you’re thinking about Zero BS CRM, we’d recommend jumping in with our free core and seeing how you get on. Here are some answers for you:

    1) We do offer a white-label rebranded version, which has fancy stuff like automatic updates with your own branding etc. You can read more about that here:
    https://zerobscrm.com/feature/rebrandr/ and https://zerobscrm.com/reseller/

    2) There is role-based permissions (you can read about it here https://zerobscrm.com/feature/team/) – it’s functional for small teams, providing “ZBS only” access etc. but in v3.0 (out soonish) we’ll build upon this and give complete granular control, something like AWS iAMS.

    3) No, the Woo<->ZBS contact is 2 synced contacts. This is purely a database stylistic choice, the reality is we have a huge amount of functionality built upon the “contact” and if we built it all upon Woo’s customer database, we’d not be able to ensure the features we have (also a chunk of our users don’t use woo). The synchronising is pretty slick though.

    4) Yes, we have hub-mode where you can sync a few Woo installs -> all into one CRM. This is huge, and an understated value of ZBS CRM, that we’ll shout more about in future: https://zerobscrm.com/feature/multiple-woocommerce-stores/

    5) Currently it’s single currency, but it’s on our list to resolve this post v3.0 (in v3.0 the data-structure is there for forex, it’s just not written into all the logic yet)/

    6) v3.0 they can, that part is all tested & functional, once we round out the big release we’ll push this first as a release candidate to our customers (in the next 2-6 weeks, all being well), and then here, after.

Hope this helps, please do let us know here or via support ticket if you need any more info: https://zerobscrm.com/kb/submit-a-ticket/

    All the best

Thanks Woody! So re: white labeling, if I wanted to do it for a single site the only way would be to edit the plugin myself? The reseller option is major overkill for me.

Forex is a must for me, since I have stores Woocommerce stores running multi-currency, as well as customers in different countries I’ll need to invoice in various currencies. Do you have an ETA on this feature?

I had a few more questions too:

    11. Does the email campaign have any kind of spam and bounceback processing? Eg. does it automatically remove email addresses that bounce, and recognise when users have marked a message as spam? And is there a webcook I could use to add new customers to my Sendy installation? Sendy has an API for adding new entries, but I would need some way of doing a call when a new customer is created in ZeroBS

    Thanks again!

No worries, some more answers for you:

Re: White-label. You can grab this via an upgrade if you join us on a bundle (its $20pcm) – it’s worth using this because it’s very deeply replacing all branding across the core CRM + all extensions, to do this manually is an absolutely huge job & unmaintainable (hence we’ve written a tool for it).

Re: Forex, realistically I’d say 8 weeks. Short term you could have a few diff installs per currency… I suppose, realise isn’t ideal (but is also quite easy with multi-site).

    7) Yes, WooSync (woocommerce) and PayPalSync both do an “initial import” which pulls through historic records, then does regular syncing (hourly with PayPal, instant-sync via WooSync). It’s truly “set and forget” ??

    8) Yeah, this is a huge part of our unique selling point. Almost all modules/areas are optional – you can turn on/off almost everything ??

    9) Yes we have both PayPal Sync and Stripe Sync, if they’re checking out with Woo you can do this via Woo, or either of these. Clients can also pay ZBS invoices via either (but I think needs Client Portal Pro extension – Mike, who’s the other co-founder and runs this – is currently on a long-haul flight, but he can confirm this later if you’d like.)

    10) We only have a payment option for invoices, most users use Woo inline with ZBS ??

    11) Currently Mail Campaigns v2 is in beta, it’s a huge degree better than our current version (1.8.2) – but it does not have bounceback checks (yet). It’s a GIANT piece to get solid mail sending, which we’re basically there with in MC2 (users are saying they’ll replace Mailchimp etc. with it). Next we’ll work on ingest, which’ll let us solve this one, (but post v3.0)

(We don’t have a Sendy integration, yet, but I can add it to the vote page (coming-soon) if you’d like to request it? https://zerobscrm.com/coming-soon/)

    All the best

Great thanks guys. I have some further questions about the pro version, so will hit you up via your website where it’s more appropriate.

    Cheers
