White flashes when going from page to page on website

I was using 3.1.4 and my site worked perfectly. I exported the database in SQL and installed 3.2.1 as a fresh install. Uploaded the base Theme I had modified and re-imported the database in SQL. It all works fine except I now get a white blank page momentarily when switching from page to page – I have tried on both Safari and IE both the same.
Help………..I am not the most advanced user so any help would be appreciated! – Thank you
