I have Firefox on a Mac & don’t see the white bar.

I have the exact same problem that Spankypod reported.

I have two different Windows 7 computers: one a laptop, the other a desktop. Both are Windows 7 and have recently (today?) been updated to Firefox 35. Both flash white while fading to the next slide. I changed from ‘fade’ to ‘slide’ and I’m still seeing the white flashing w/ the Responsive Slider.

This problem just happened and seems to be related to the update to FireFox v35.

IE and Chrome are also installed on these computers. IE and Chrome work fine.

It could be a bug in Firefox. If that’s the case then hopefully it will be fixed in their next release.

This fixes it for me. I’ve updated plugins\genesis-responsive-slider\js\jquery.flexslider.js with the most recent version. It is available here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/woothemes/FlexSlider/master/jquery.flexslider.js

Just overwrite jquery.flexslider.js file with the new contents and save.

Hitting <ctrl>-F5 in Firefox was not enough. I had to use Firefox’s History > Clear Recent History… to clear out the old script and force it to use the updated one. Now, my slider is working smoothly.

Works on IE and Chrome, too.

I wondering if the plugin could be updated if it is a matter of updating the flex slider inside the plugin. I have several clients who have this plugin and the the responsive slider now is not working right. This would be very helpful for me–thanks for any help in this!
