while updating post, it takes too muc time

  • my site was working fine earlier, then i install wp-total cache and the removed it due to some problem, since then while updating post takes too much time…
    creating post is ok but if i edit that post and update it, it takes almost a minute.

  • Check that W3 Total Cache has been removed well at first.
    You should not have
    wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache folder
    wp-content/object-cache.php file
    wp-content/advanced-cache.php file
    wp-content/db.php file

    If any present – remove it.
    If none exists and issue is still there – you may be sure at least it’s not related to W3 Total Cache since it has no chances to execute a piece of it’s code.

    In a case your traffic / server load didn’t increase a lot – it may be caused by some other plugin. Deactivating those one by one and checking performance is a good way to check that assumption.
