• Coming from a Drupal background, I expect to be able to customize without limit, but his plugin did not provide that. The biggest thing was that I could not hook into JS events such as when products were initialized on page load or when the quick view dialog was triggered.

    Besides that, I was quite impressed with the backend and their decoupled approach. There were a lot of templates and also a lot of hooks. Furthermore, their developer support (not customer) is amazing: working with Topher, the BigCommerce WordPress Developer Evangelist, was a pleasure.
