Which sitemap to submit to Search Console

    I just switched from Yoast to SEO Framework. SEO Framework is generating sitemaps at both /sitemap.xml and /sitemap_index.xml. Yoast’s sitemap was at /sitemap_index.xml.

    Which one should I submit to Search Console? Or should I submit both?

    Hello!

    I believe you’ve contacted us privately about this inquiry already.

    In any case, for completeness: We recommend using the /sitemap.xml endpoint. The other is there to support hosts that support only Yoast SEO’s sitemap, like Namecheap, which are bad hosts.
