Which sidebar is which or where?

  • Be patient as I did learn my wordpress 5 days ago.
    So the problem I’m having right now is locating some sidebars in admin panel.
    I need to put widgets on the pages but can’t find where they are under widgets
    I have Main sidebar and that works with landing page, Blog sidebar which is ok too, then Page and Ad sidebar which I have no idea what locations they relate to.
    Last issue I have is that all widgets display ok on first page but when I click “more ads” it opens new page with more listings but nothing else. How do I populate that sidebar?

  • Sidebars can vary greatly from one theme to the next, so there are few standard answers.

    Page and Ad sidebar which I have no idea what locations they relate to.

    One or each of those might appear only in a specific page template available in the page/post editor.

    Pity. Can probably get as much help over there so far as from my hamster. ??

    Some commercial themes have better support than others along the line of customization, and it is always possible someone here might have some personal experience to share with any given theme. But yes, that can be a dilemma to consider when choosing whether to use a theme from here at www.remarpro.com.
