    Hi.

    I really don’t understand what you mean with “an industry leading podcast player right into Seriously Simple Podcasting, for Free!”

    I swear I’m not being cynical, but how is it free and costs $190 a year?

    Hi Rui,

    Thanks for the message. The Seriously Simple Podcasting plugin is completely free to use. This is the part with the built in, customizable player.

    We have an optional integration with the Castos hosting platform, which if you choose to opt into this, is the only paid aspect. It is certainly not required. With SSP you can host your media files wherever you’d like (your own website server, or any other podcast-specific hosting platform). SSP is just what enables all the podcast functionality on your WordPress site.
