Which MySQL tables does WordPress use?

  • It’s almost surely safe for WordPress if you delete those tables. Not so good for any other application using them, obviously. Just be sure they’re not needed by another app, or by mysql itself.

    I’m guessing by your username and that one of the tables is called “albums” that you used to have a photo gallery here. If so, I’d go to the site you got it from and doublecheck which of those tables are used by it and delete only them if you’re not using the app anymore.

    Thanks. I deleted them all since I’m only using WordPress now. Everything seems a-okay.
