Which markup to use Newsarticle vs Blogposting vs Article vs Creative Works

  • hi hesham been long user of your plugin only issues and clarifications i have:-

    1. by default schema plugin uses blog posting markup on posts and article markup on pages.
    what if i have a news website which markup to use for blog post( Newsarticle or Article as i have seen popular themes i.e newspaper or mythemeshop are using article markup. but then i have seen genesis, generatepress, Astra using creativework markup).

    I have almost gone through your documentation but has not found a post on it.

    2. Are sidebar,header,footer markup useful or redundant. if important any roadmap to add them or if any code snippet can you share for temporary workaround

    Not sure how you would do education stuff like math, history or chemistry. Like you are teaching a lesson or a course. Check the markup on Wikipedia. Get a page and check the results.

    Even i had the same impression but using Newsarticle on post always shows errors in structured data testing tool and then hesham prefers blogposting as default i was confused.

    But still when we have latest posts or reading post as front setting schema plugin adds blog markup by default. Now my website has latest posts as front setting and it is a News website. so schema plugin in this case should not add blog to front as i will be assigning newsarticle to my posts.

    Can someone clarifies on it. Great plugin hesham!!
