That’s really not an answer to my question. I’m asking which is the better way to share, not whether or not to share.

It’s going to be a relatively even split between the two choices.

You’ll get more traffic to your site if you share the link to your site. Facebook Group -> Blog will lose less traffic along the way than Facebook Group -> Facebook Post -> Blog.

However, Facebook’s algorithm gives far more weight to Facebook content. So, for those using the Top Stories feed instead of Most Recent, a shared Facebook post will be more visible than a shared Blog post.

All of that to say, do whichever you want to do or whichever is easiest for you, because sadly both have pretty much equal pros/cons.

it’s better to Share from my Facebook Group Page, …to other FB Groups
    NO

    or

is it better to share from the posts from my WordPress blog onto these other Facebook Groups
    no

it is better to share website post > yourfb group > their fb group

Which is what I though I answered. Let me try to be clearer.

Sharing a Blog Post Directly on the Facebook Group

Pros: Less likelihood of losing visitors along the path of simply Facebook Group -> Blog Post.

Cons: Less visible to people using the Top Stories view due to Facebook algorithm.

Sharing a Blog Post your Facebook Group, then sharing that Facebook Group post on other Facebook Groups

Pros: More visible to people using the Top Stories view due to Facebook algorithm, Facebook items are given more weight than external items.

Cons: More likelihood of losing visitors along the longer path of Facebook Group 1 -> Facebook Group 2 -> Blog Post.
