Which is better for multisite: subdomians or sub folders?

  • I am now setting up my own site with multisite. I have clients which I will then setup as a site on my multi-site install. I don’t know which is better going sub-domains or sub-folders.

    I have previously been setting up my clients with their own install of wordpress but am finding it hell to admin each and everyone. So I thought multi-site would be a better option. I’m just not sure the best way to go about it.

    Also I’m looking for a good wordpress designer “hangout”…know of others besides here?

    Better is subjective ??

    I use subdomains when the sites need to look separate, and subfolders when they all share a theme or style.
