Hi, I am a little confused at what to update, my theme bfastmag_pro may not issue an update to their theme for ages.. so need to attempt to update the out of date woocommerce files. by viewing one of my products, it shows related products just fine. So what is at fault? This is what the message is:

bfastmag_pro/woocommerce/single-product/related.php version 3.0.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.9.0,
bfastmag_pro/woocommerce/single-product/up-sells.php

So what I did: I downloaded latest woocommerce, 7.5.1 and copied the content of the latest up-sells.php and pasted it to the sites existing live upsell. (via wordpress editor) by overwriting the old up-sell.php, still showed in status report that it was not resolved. What should I do?

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you have updated your template files however, the notice of your templates being outdated is still displayed in your sites System Status Report, is this correct?

You can read our support guide on how to update outdated templates here.

If you have followed the steps provided there and the outdated template is still being displayed in your Status report, please head over to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:
- WooCommerce transients – Clear
- Expired transients – Clear
- Clear template cache – Clear
Next, please clear your browser cache and then check the System Status report again.

thanks for your reply. You didnt notice I said I had only updated upsells, not the related too. Therefore your reply ignored my question. You said you understood I had updated my templates, (this is plural, meaning more than one template) but I hadnt, so just now I went in and updated the other obvious related.php and then viewed the status page, and it said that template overrides are now fine, nothing outdated anymore. So now all resolved.
