Which Data Variable To Use?

    A while ago I setup my GTM tags, variables, and triggers according to your tutorials. However, now I am unsure which events to use as a parameter variable in regards to e-commerce tracking for GA4.

    Currently, I am using the “gtm4wp.orderCompletedEEC” as an event/trigger for purchases. But, I can also see the “purchase” event showing up in the GTM debug mode: https://imgur.com/a/07y9fp9 .

    Therefore, I was wondering if I should ignore the “gtm4wp.xxx” events and just focus on GA4 events only as triggers/events. Looking forward to hear from you what the best practice should be.
