Which code to use to prevent xml sitemap cache

Hi, for some websites I am using yoast and seo framework. My question is will the same codes found here https://yoast.com/help/exclude-sitemaps-from-cache/ used by w3 total cache and wp super cache to not cache all yoast xml sitemap urls work within your plugin? If not which do you recommend to use?
