which code have I to type in the functions.php ?

  • I′ve 2 problems :

    1- I can′t change the head menu from the navigation.Every time I change it it returns to the default again.

    2- I don′t know which code have I to type in the fanctions.php to can keep all my changes after updates.

    please help me.
