Which Calendar do you recommend?

  • Hello everyone! I’m new to the forums and I have the following question. On my WP-site I am trying to implement an event calendar, and I’m specifically looking for a widget. I’ve been searching through most of the plugins available and I can’t decide which one to use.

    I’ve been testing the Localendar plugin but that one uses a separate website for you to post your events. I’d like to do that through my administration page in wordpress.

    A lot of the widgets available has a hover effect when you place the cursor on a date in the calendar. Is there any widget that does not use the hover effect, and instead uses a simple hyperlink? I want to click on a date and be sent to the event post, the same way as if I click on a blog post link.

    Also, I want the widget to be fully customizable so I can style it with CSS.

    What event calendar to you recommend me to use?
