Which caching plugin – WP Super Cache, WP Cache 2, Other?

  • Which caching plugin is most recommended/most liked by its users: WP Super Cache, WP Cache 2, or some other plugin?

    My guess is that in terms of load reduction they’re all fairly similar and each will be able to solve load issues effectively, so are there any other reasons to prefer one over the other? Simplicity of use, compatibility issues, likelihood of possible conflicts with WordPress upgrades, etc.

    They are both great tools, and some people prefer one (WP Super Cache) over the other. However, if you haven’t installed it yet, I’d wait for WordPress 2.5 which may have system-wide caching.
