Where's WYSIYG?

    I’ve been having a problem with posting lately that relates to the Visual and HTML tabs for posting. I have repeatedly made changes to sections of my post that I want bold and underlined, have saved them and tried to preview them with no results. I have two questions about this:

    1) Is this a cookie problem?
    2) When, oh when, will WordPress provide true WYSIWYG features? Is it possible? Is it only available in certain themes?

    I go through this virtually every time I try to post something with more than plain text and it’s driving me a little cuckoo! Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

    P.S. Another issue that I forgot to mention is that there’s virtually no difference in the Visual and HTML tabs when it comes to seeing what the post is actually going to look like. In other words, I can still see the HTML commands in the Visual tab.

    Additionally, I keep getting additional paragraph breaks in my posts when I’m not putting them in!!!

    Please help. Before they have to cart me off to the loony bin!

    After much fussing, I was able to fix the individual post. Also discovered that I made a post about this same issue six months ago and am working on the recommendations from then. Wish I could find a way to delete this thread now, but oh well….
