    ok.

i installed WPB2D Simple Restore, but after authorizing dropbox, it gives me a screen where the only option is:
I did not backup to a subfolder

and then it says: Error: no WPB2D zip archives found in that folder.

what is it looking for? and where? i don’t have a zip file, the site was backedup as open, i see all files on dropbox, no zip.

    i have the full backup.

    saga continues:
doesn’t work in chrome, but works in ie.

i selected my folder but still get the error:
Error: no WPB2D zip archives found in that folder.

which zip is it looking for?
    and where?

    thanks, please help.

    Gday Lenny,

At the moment the restore wizard only works with a zipped backup.

So, if you do not use the zip extension, you will have to create your own zip of the contents of the backup and add it to the Dropbox folder.

    Cheers,

i did it and still get the same error.
where should the zip be, and what name should i give it
    let’s say my site’s name is site.com.

and what is the zip extension?

    thanks

    Gday Lenny,

The zip extension is an optional component that will zip up your site before uploading it to Dropbox. It can be purchased from within your WordPress admin, eg yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=backup-to-dropbox-premium.

    Any name should be fine.

    Cheers,

i did it and still get the same error.
i created a zip of the entire site, on the root of the site. (in dropbox).

but i still get the message: “Error: no WPB2D zip archives found in that folder.”

    any solution?

    thanks

    Gday lenny,

I am not sure what the issue is. I will need to do some investigating.

    Cheers,
    Mikey
