    Hello all,

I installed a spanish version for my forum and completely translated the Templates. In general the whole forum is now in spanish but there are some english words that lurk in some places I cannot find. For example, here https://blogs.noticierodigital.com/nelson/?cat=3 (More…) should be (Más…) but I cannot find the english to translate it.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Guillermo.

  • Depending on your theme’s structure – it should be in the archive.php or category.php. Or both.

    Hi Moshu,

The word (More) is not in any of the thems’s files. I tried searching using dreamweaver search and grep search. These are the files en my theme:
    404
    archive
    archives
    attachment
    comments_popup
    comments
    footer
    header
    index
    links
    page
    search
    searchform
    sidebar
    single

    However, I found these lines:

    wp-includes/feed-functions line 23
    function the_content_rss($more_link_text='(more...)', $stripteaser=0, $more_file='', $cut = 0, $encode_html = 0)

    wp-includes/teplate-functions-post line 54
    function the_content($more_link_text = '(more...)', $stripteaser = 0, $more_file = '')

    wp-includes/teplate-functions-post
    function get_the_content($more_link_text = '(more...)', $stripteaser = 0, $more_file = '')

Is it safe to just translate ('more...') to ('m ás...') or is there a better way to do it?

    Thanks,

    Guillermo

Oh, I see. No, don’t touch the core files – that’s always an unhealthy idea ??

In the archive.php file find this the_content()
    and put your text there:
    the_content('Más...')

Explanation: as it works now: if you don’t have anything as a parameter – between () – it defaults to “more” that you found in the template-functions file.
