  • Hello @johocen168!

I believe you are trying to translate the “Checkout” text of the mini cart section. Is that correct?

It should be automatically translated as per the translation. If it is not working as expected; clear your cart, and try again.

If this doesn’t help, then this particular phrase can be edited using the translation plugins like Loco Translate.

With Loco translate, you can create a custom language file for your site’s language, search for the phrase “Checkout”, and then set your translated string (as follows).

There are plenty of YouTube videos that shows the complete process of creating lang files and then updating the phrases in them.

Note: When changing mini-cart’s lang phrases like “Checkout”, make sure to clear the cart and re-add the products; this way, you’ll not be seeing the cached version of the particular section.

    Best!

Meanwhile, cleared the cart and re-ordered, but still see “Checkout” instead of 結帳

    Any other suggestion…

    Hi @johocen168!

Make sure that you are translating the correct language phrase.

    Hi @pranavrana89

Every phrase related to “Checkout” is translated, including “Checkout”

    But still same problem.

    Hi @johocen168!

I am not sure what exactly is causing the issue at your end.

This is how I was able to translate the ‘Checkout’ text for the Chinese language: https://d.pr/v/zBzw3u

Try deleting your existing language file, and re-create it as per the exact steps in the above screencast. Also, make sure to clear any site cache that you might have.

In case this doesn’t help, chances are that a lang file from a different plugin/theme could be overwriting this particular text which you need to search for and translate as well.

You should be able to get support from the Loco Translate forum.

    Hi @pranavrana89

You are right, the problem is in theme.

While found class=”button alt checkout wc-forward”

    Thanks for your help!
