    Hi,

I saw somebody already 2.5 years ago asked where/how to translate these words.

I just installed the Kale theme, and still, I think at least the words “Filed Under” and “Tags” are hardcoded? Did you not update the .pot file already to the theme itself?

Anyway, I need to be able to translate all the theme to my own language.

How can we do that now? I think you should make an updated version of your free theme so that everybody would receive a proper theme with all its content ready to translate?

Or whatever way you see the best. But for yourself, a fixed theme would be the best option of course. To sell the pro version too. It is a beautiful theme.

    Thanks in advance ??

  • Hi @haije,

Thanks for reaching out, and thank you for using Kale, we really appreciate it.

I just checked with the latest version of Kale and was able to translate these strings easily using Loco Translate, but this is helpful feedback, and I would be happy to pass it along to the dev team.

    Thanks again! ??

Hi Steven, sorry, you are right, it is correct in the source code!

I realised now that your theme does not support the path Loco offers as the best option:
    wp-content/languages/loco/themes/<domain>-<locale>.mo

So I changed the place where the files are saved to:
    wp-content/languages/themes/<domain>-<locale>.mo

    And then it works.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the follow up, @haije, happy to hear that it worked out for you.

    Take care!
