Where to put [FLOWPLAYER=media.flv,600,450]

  • Where do I put the Flowplayer=media.flv to get flowplayer to play my video? I have all the installations made as suggested but my video only play with the computer default. I have found places where they say the [FLOWPLAYER ETC] has to me manually installed but it does not say exactly WHERE, HELP PLEASE

  • If you have uploaded and installed Flowplayer correctly then:

    you want to place “[FLOWPLAYER=media.flv,600,450]” in a post or page, the exact location of your media file “media.flv” will need to be know, for example it might be located at. https://domain.com/video/movie.flv. Then it would look like this below…

    [FLOWPLAYER=https://domain.com/video/movie.flv,600,450]

    where media.flv is your media file path, this can be realative or a full http url.

    Thanks for the quick response gwalker. I am a newbie. Am I correct in assuming that [FLOWPLAYER=http: etc] should be written in the post in “html” rather than “Visual” to use WordPress terms?

    You can place the code without being in “HTML” mode if you like

    Even though the path url to the flv file is correct, the video doesn’t appear.

    I have the same problem as Aljaz. I tried to embed a Youtube video and when I publish the post, it cannot find the source.
