  • Hello Patti,

If you want to display your slider on page or post then just copy your slider shortcode [URIS id=63] and then pate it on page or post editor.

Just create new page or post then paste your shortcode here.

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do for you today. We’ll be glad to help!

    Thanks

Thank you for the speedy response! Is there a particular spot that the code should be pasted into within the code? At the very beginning, in the <head>, or can it go anywhere?

I tried starting a new page, going to “text” instead of “visual” and putting the code at the top of the page, but that didn’t work – no slider showed up at all and none of the text in the body was displayed either. So it appears I need to put the shortcode into the “page.php” code or the “header.php” code – but I have no idea where. I created a child theme or Intuition.

Sorry to need “child proofed” instruction – I’m learning this stuff through videos and trial and error. I appreciate your help greatly!!

    Hi Patti,

If you want to implement slider in any Theme template (like in php file) then refer this forum thread.

This will help you a lot.

    Thanks

That post talks about putting the header on the home page, but I want to also put a different header on each of my menu selection pages as well (one for dairy pages and sub pages, one for beef, one for swine, etc.). Will the process from the post you are referring to above work for all of that or only on the front page?

    Thanks!

I thinks this is also work with your case.

Just implement it in your Theme header.php file, then it will load in each Page/Post/Template of the theme.

If not, then we are here available for help.

    Great day!
