Where to put ad network code in WordPress? It’s slowing my page load

  • Hello,

    I was wondering if anyone could help me with this…

    I have had Valueclick ad code pasted right into my header file in WordPress to have my ads showing at the top of page. For awhile, it’s been fine…

    Now all of the sudden fastclick code appears to be holding up my page load and sometimes it wont load at all. Once I take the code out, it loads fine.

    Is this a bad way of doing it? Does anyone have ideas where I can have my Valueclick code in there so it doesn’t affect page loading?

    Well, your site is completely and totally broken for me, so I can’t tell you what the issue is. Might disable WP-Cache for a while, so that you can see the effects of your changes in real time.

    Hi Otto,

    That’s strange. My site seems to be fine in the browers Ive checked (FF and IE). Could you tell me what browser and version you are using and screen size, etc…?

    Ill see what the issue is.
