Where to post ad code from Adsense

Hi,

I’m just trying to set up my Adsense account with my site and Adsense says that I need to paste my ad code on my site in order to qualify for the second step of the approval process. I’m completely new to this and don’t have a clue about code. I’ve created ad units and I’m at the stage where I can paste the code but I just have no idea where that is on WordPress or the dashboard. Adsense’s tutorial says that I need to place the code between the ‘body’ tags but I’m not sure if this is in CSS or some other HTML page that I can’t find. Please help!
