Where to install the Web-Fonts-Folder?

  • Hello,

    let’s say you’re me and you’d like to install (via FileZilla) Web-Fonts on a Server out there. Your Internet Service Provider doesn’t really issue any recommendation, so you ask the WordPress-dudes’ Community:

    Would you install the Web-Fonts into your WordPress-Folder or rather outside, i.e. directly on the / root of the Server?

    Any hints would be much appreciated ??

    Hi gestyle!

    You would ideally include the fonts with either your theme or plugin and use the appropriate functions to enqueue the files. This would mean they would reside inside the wp-content folder.
