Where to find TAGS meta box in single post edit page

    Hi,

    I’ve been using this great plugin for a while now, and overall am satisfied with its features, 5 stars from me.

    Only one little thing I’m facing the problem now. Well, I’ve tried to googling and also search this forum, but since the keyword is too common, then I couldn’t reach the right answer.

    My problem is, when editing the the GD single post (say gd_place), I can see all the metas in “gd_place information box“, including my custom metas which I set up in gd_place setting. But I can’t find the meta for TAGS, not also in screen options. Other metas are there (name, description, categories, pictures, map, etc, until custom metas), but NOT TAGS meta.

    Tags are shown in gd_place LIST, but not in single post edit page.

    Thus to edit the TAGS meta, I must do it from gd_place list using QUICK EDIT, and unable from single post edit page. (in normal WP Posts, the TAGS meta box usually located on right sidebar after post category)

    So anyone can help me for answer?

    Hi @anuragzain,

    We add tags via a custom field so if you have that hidden or disabled then it will not show, or it may be showing in a place you do not expect.

    Go to Places > Settings > Custom Fields, in the main list on the right you will see the field “Tags” please make sure this is enabled and in a position you want.

    I follow your instruction to go to Places > Settings > Custom Fields, in the main list on the right.

    in my case:

    tags (keyfield: post_tags) – expand options
    > active checkbox: checked!
    >> show in additional output location: sidebar, listing page

    == this tags field, is properly displayed on:

    1. GD_places “add listing” page
    2. GD_place Details Page
    3. GD_places post list, next to category coloumn (in admin dashboard)

    But, STILL when I edit gd_place single post, the tag metabox not showing up everywhere in editing page (I am using classic editor).. not on gd_place information box NOR on right columns (where “publish box”, gd_place attachement, located)

    === now if I Go to Places > Settings > Custom Fields, in the main list on the right. and CHANGE std fields/ custom field’s order, the order of the fields will take effect properly on followings:

    1. GD_places “add listing” page
    2. Single Post classic editor page (in “gd_place information” box – below description box) — all fields IS THERE, EXCEPT… TAGS field.

    Hello Paolo,

    To your suggestion I have created support ticket and in no time I received reply and my problem is resolved.

    Normally the PROPERTY TAGS metabox is located in the right bar of edit page (as normal post edit page do). But in my case it was not showing up due to conflict with other plugins (which I am still investigating which one causing the problem)

    At least now I know it’s caused by plugin conflict which previously I thought the feature (of tag metabox) was somewhere on the setting which I might have skipped.

    So I consider my problem is resolved.

    Thanks to nice guys for supporting my case very seriously, despite I still use free version
