Where to change PHP date output of comments post time

  • I got the following output of comments post time:
    ??? 30th, 2005 at 6:46 am e

    In which file to change PHP date function? From “F” to “n”? Thanks.

    I did this change in wp-content/themes/my-theme/comments.php
    there you will find a section with <?php comment_date(' <date parameters> ') ?>
    I just set them to the format I wanted.
