where is vertical option

I don’t understand sorry. The free version supports horizontal menus (like you see on the homepage of megamenu.com), and flyout sub menus (which will list menu items in a vertical list on hover).

On this page https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/widget/, under Step 2 – Assign a menu to a new location, it has the option under orientation for it to be horizontal or vertical, but I don’t get that option. Is this a paid version?

Sorry, you say that it is in the free version, but do I need to have chosen some option to get this to show up in the Mega Menu section on the left of the menu?

I think there is some confusion sorry.

The free version supports horizontal menus (wide menus that span the whole width of the page). Vertical menus (narrow menu displayed on the side of a page) are a feature in Pro. The “Orientation” option will only show up if you have the Pro addon installed, which is why you don’t see that option.

Yes, sorry, I got my verticals and horizontals mixed up for the heading to my question. I wanted the wide menu that spans the whole width of the page, but I couldn’t get it to work. I have a site that has a huge sub menu (see https://victoriacountystudiotour.com/) and I thought your free version would work to have it show horizontally. Am I right that this should work with your free version?

I couldn’t figure out how to get it to work with my ithemes (builder) theme. Vertical menus aren’t an issue, I can do those without any plugin. Ithemes were the ones that suggested your plugin to have a horizontal menu.

Can you tell me what I could be doing wrong? As I said, the instructions that I found had that extra option in the menu, so without having the pro and not getting that option, how do I get that sub menu to show up horizontally?

MMM is not currently activated for that menu. I’m not sure how iThemes builder works, but if it gives you an option to add a shortcode or widget to display the main menu then you could try one of these methods instead:

Otherwise, iThemes may be the best people to ask how to get it working in their theme (it seems they are familiar with MMM already).

Then to show the sub menu items in a mega menu rather than a long list, you can change the sub menu type for your Artists menu item to a mega menu:
