Where is the setting for the detection threshold

CF7 has no such setting as I found. What CF7 uses is the WordPress Discussion settings in Settings > Discussion – Comment Blacklist.

Thank you. However, I agree with you that those settings are useless. Who on earth is expected to manage a Net wide black-list? Really???

The threshold value is in module>recaptcha.php, line 292.

However, when I look at the analytics for my captcha on google, most of the spam has a score of 0.7 and 0.9. So clearly the captcha is not as intelligent as it should be.

I must say that since editing line 102, spam had been blocked pretty well.

Sorry, should have clarified that there is no setting in the backend Admin interface for the threshold value. Would be nice if there was.

My line 292 in recaptcha.php says:

“$is_human, $response_body );”

What line content am I looking for to modify the spam threshhold setting?

Check line 288:
$threshold = 0.5;

Yes, I’ve since found that line and changed it, but same issue, still no submissions pass.

We need v2 reCaptcha back, please CF7 developer!
