Where is the Featured category Option in Brasserie WordPress theme

I had the same issue today! I thought I was missing something important. If you make a category titled ‘featured’ (not feature or anything else but FEATURED) and tag your posts with that, they populate.

What homepage options are available in the free version? The only thing I can get to work and display is the header image option.

I’m familiar with creating categories and have created the “featured” category and tagged my posts with it. But nothing is populating in the slider. Is there any more setup required for this to work?

you will have to use the custom home template for the slider to appear. You will also need featured images in your posts.
