A page I set up called Events was intended to include a secondary page called Calendar. However, the first page’s permalink is the calendar.

I sought to change that by making it …/events-page and setting Calendar’s permalink to …/events. However, that made no difference, so I went to the Events plugin setting and tries to change the link there, but it wouldn’t accept …/events-page/events, and continued to show the top level page’s link of …/events.

I looked for where that setting is stored, but couldn’t find it.

I fixed it by making the Calendar page parentless (mmm, an orphan).

However, I’d still like to know where the plugin stores its data.

    Hey Perrorist,

    These are great questions.
To provide a thorough answer would go beyond the scope of our support however ??

That being said, currently the plugin does not use a page per se, but some complex URL work that call upon the archive.php template.

This explains why it’s difficult to manipulate it’s URL. In fact, I would recommend against it.

    Best of luck!
