Where is the Author Page file??

  • Hello,

    Where si the author page or archive page where all latest/all posts by an author are listed in the Theme File Editor?

    I can’t find the file. I just want to put the author box for each author in their author pages.

    Mission News only uses the index.php to prevent code repetition, but you can copy that file and rename it as author.php to create a custom author archive page.

    If the only customization you’re making is to add a box at the top of the page, you might want to edit the content/archive-header.php file instead. That should already be outputting the author’s name and bio, so you may want to check if it’s being hidden via CSS or the Show/Hide Elements option in the Customizer.
