• I tried to edit an existing post made with the standard editor. Clicking on edit I got only a white screen within the WP dashboard. I clicked then on new post and after that I was able to open the existing post in the editor.
I got a message like (translated from German) It is the classic WordPress Editor and it is one block. Use the editor direct.
Anyhow, I had to struggle around a while until I found out that on the top left is a + button where you can select to insert an image.
To insert an image is now more complicate than before. I can add some information to the image directly in the editor but this information is not registered in the basic data. I therefore have to edit the image twice now.
No features are added to images, no effects on hover, no borders, no shadows, nothing.
For now I have disabled the plugin. It’s better for me to work with the old editor.

Thanks for leaving a review and exploring the new editor. I would love to find out more about the white screen you are getting as that absolutely does seem like a bug. If possible could you make an issue here: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/new/choose? If not, could you provide a little more information and I can try and make one for you.

    Hi Tammie,
Today I made a new attempt to work with Gutenberg. The problem with the white page no longer occurs in the current version.
But it is not possible to insert a picture in an existing block. I could not define a thumbnail 150×150. The result setting thumbnail was a scaled down image.
So I had to stop my attempt with Gutenberg again and turn back to the old editor.
