Where is sidebar widget?

Twenty Nineteen does not have a sidebar widget area built-in. Here is the thread discussing the lack of a sidebar widget area during the development of the Twenty Nineteen Theme. https://github.com/WordPress/twentynineteen/issues/258

If you want a theme with a sidebar, it’s easier to choose a different theme than to try to add a sidebar to one that isn’t designed for it.

I’ve been looking and looking for this bl**dy sidebar in twenty nineteen and finally did a google search…. How can WP design a theme (with all its wonderfull functionality……..) without the possibility of a sidebar… Insane. Ok, will switch to a normal theme for this test site!
