Hi,
Thanks for your message. The list of Shortcodes available can be found in the apposite management page of the wp-admin section of our plugin. From the page Dashboard you will find a button in the top toolbar that will let you manage all Shortcodes, hence all pages of your website that will be generated by our plugin.
In your screen shot we can see the last step of the booking process, which is called the “Summary” View (page). The booking process can be started from a Shortcode of type “Search Form” as well as from a Shortcode of type “Items List” or “Item Details”. The same thing goes for the widget “Search Form”. By starting reserving an item you will reach the summary page that will let the users confirm the rental order by entering their billing information.
Instead, the delivery function must be enabled at item-level, by properly setting up the various deliver options from the Configuration page. Items supporting the delivery service will display a checkbox called “I’d like to have the item delivered” that will open up a modal window like the one you took from the official demo website of our plugin. This function will be displayed in the first step of the booking process, on the page before the “summary”. If you land onto the search results page after selecting the rental dates, then by selecting a rental item you will see the delivery option in that exact page, right underneath the selection of the rental cost (rate plan/type of price) and eventually some options/extras, which are not available in the free version of the plugin.
We are unable to post links to our website on this forum, but you can get in touch with our team through our website for any technical questions.
We hope this helps!

Thanks for your reply .
I already emailed your support team and hoping there is a full documentation for this plugin .
By the way , I tried the Search Form shortcode but it seems it doesnt appear a search form in the front-end .
Why is that ?
The first short code is location while the other one is search form and it doesn’t appear a search form .
Thanks .
Additional question before we bought this plugin .
Where can I find the search widgets from the plugin dashboard ?
The one you use in your demo site in the hero section .
Thanks .
Hi,
Only one Shortcode per page (per buffer actually) is allowed, and so you should use either one or the other. You could actually publish widgets of our plugin on pages that use a Shortcode, but only one is accepted and processed.
Lastly, the pre-installed widgets in our plugin should be published on your pages by using the WordPress native function, which may be dependent on your Theme. By default, widgets can be published on Sidebars made available by your Theme, but if you are using a page-builder plugin, then you could also use it to display a widget on a specific section of an exact page of your website.
The search function I am refererring to is this one .
Is this also a search ? I am actually using Elementor .
Also , can the price change to $ ?
Thanks again for immediate reply .
Hi,
Thanks for the screen shot. We confirm that’s the “Search Form” widget, it is not a Shortcode because that’s the home page of the official demo website of VikRentItems, and Shortcodes should not be used in the home page, only widgets are eligible for the home page in order to be able to properly start the routing functions for the booking process.
If you are using Elementor, then you can just have it load that widget on any portion of your page content without needing to use the Sidebars of your Theme.
Lastly, the currency settings are available in the Configuration page of the plugin. You can definitely set the proper currency symbol to $ and even change the currency ISO code. Those settings default to EUR/€, but you can obviously change them. Please remember to click the “Renew Session” button after saving the new configuration settings in order to see the new changes being applied immediately and avoid cached values. Alternatively, you can just use an incognito session of your browser to immediately test the new configuration settings.
I am using Elementor and I can’t find the widget you are mentioning in order to place that search function in the hero section .
I already bought the premium version of your plugin earlier thought that it will solve the issue .
I just want the search function to be placed in my hero section of my site just like what you have in your demo . ( See my screenshot above ) .
Hopefully you can point me into the right direction . I would greatly appreciate it .
Thanks !
Hi,
What you want to publish is indeed the “Search Form” widget. If you open the WordPress native page to manage the widgets (menu Appearance – Widgets) then you are going to find this one available, but you would have to publish it on a Sidebar of your Theme.
With a page-builder plugin instead, you should be able to select a type of content to be published that is generated from a widget. We just don’t know where this function is in your Elementor installation, but page-builder plugins are capable of letting you publish widgets within the content of a page, and so you don’t need to use the Sidebars of your Theme.
If you are now a Pro user, then we suggest getting in touch with our technical support team through our website by opening a ticket. This way we will be able to provide more assistance.
Thank you.
The VikWP TeamHello again .
Will this VikWidgetsLoader be available as widgets in Elementor ?
Thanks !
P.S.
Nevermind , I found it .

A follow up question for the search widget .
I was trying to assign a page but nothing is showing up in the dropdown . ( Please refer to the image attached )
I created 2 different pages for products ( one that I created with a shortcode and one that was created by the plugin itself ) .
How to solve this ?
Thanks !
Also , can we integrate your plugin to ZOHO or WOOCommerce ?
Hello,
Thanks for the screen shots. The drop down list for “Pages” is automatically populated by reading the published Shortcodes in the main plugin. Basically, your widget is unable to see any Shortcodes correctly linked to a page of your website.
We suggest using the Shortcodes management page in VikRentItems, and next to each Shortcode you should find a red button called “Create Page +”. By clicking that button, our plugin will automatically create a new page for your website that contains that Shortcode string. As a result, that Shortcode will be automatically assigned to the newly created page_id.
This is a lot faster than copying the Shortcode string and pasting it manually onto a page of your website, especially because the native WordPress hooks for creating or updating a page may not be triggered if you edit the pages in some non-native ways.
As long as the Shortcodes management page will display your records linked to a corresponding page, hence with a blue button called “View page in front-site” next to each Shortcode row, the drop down list of the widget to select the landing page URL will be populated correctly.
Lastly, all our plugins are standalone systems. This means that they do not interface with any third-party plugin such as WooCommerce, I’m sorry. VikRentItems comes with its own framework, and so you don’t need any other e-commerce plugin for your website.
There are certain issues again regarding the plugins .
1 . Selecting a different date upon booking and going into the ” cart ” page , it only shows one date combined for 2 bookings . ( please see attached image . )
Those are the same items booked on different dates but in the cart page they are combined into 1 date .
2 . Since we are just using a daily basis , is it possible that we can remove the text ” Pickup , and Time ” from ”?Pickup Date and Time ” in the search widgets ? Just leave the text ” Date ” instead ?
Thanks .

Hello again .
I really believe you need to update your plugin . Here is another issue . ( Please refer to the image attached . )
As you can see in the image , the ” total price ” is the actual price that I set for the items and items options but it seems all calculations are messed up .
The actual price should be in ” Net Price ” and the ” Total Price ” should have added the 6.5% that I assigned as additional tax for each item .
I really want this issue to be resolved since we are in need to make the site live in a couple of days and every time there are issues popping up .
Please resolve this ASAP .
Thanks !
