I’m not sure if this is a question or some feedback. And I’ll take a stab at answering it:
LifterLMS has “sections” which are an organizing unit within courses. A course can be made up of any number of “sections” and lesson can be attached to sections.
Where are they? They’re, technically, in your database.
More than likely you’re upset with us because you updated LifterLMS from a pre 3.3.0 version and you haven yet to run the pending database update described here: https://lifterlms.com/docs/lifterlms-database-updates/#343
This update remaps some database keys so that we can have a more consistent codebase with fewer collisions with themes and other plugins.
If you don’t run the mandatory database upgrade it will appear as if your sections have been deleted. Please run the update, it’ll make you feel better!
