where is my website?

  • This is a weird problem. The company I work for now had a web site. It was hidden for a make-over. Last November, I was able to peek behind the curtain and see the content, but did not have time to revise. I now want to revise and re-open. But I can’t find the content again. I don’t even know if www.remarpro.com is the right site and forum, but I’m asking for suggestions from knowledgeable members. The website was/is https://www.eqalix.com. I don’t know where it is hosted, but when I was able to see it last fall, I went through https://eqalix.com/wp-login with a user name and password, and selected EQALIX/visit site. Any advice would be greatly appreciated…and please assume I know nothing. Many thanks! (I just selected the Version above at random)

  • Hi there,

    You can still access the WordPress admin from that panel you linked to.

    Log in and look through the Posts and Pages to view the content on the site.

    Another way to do this would be to access the database related to this site, but you would have to go through your company’s system administrator (person who handled this original install and webhosting details) if you don’t have this information handy.

    Hi EMG, thanks for your help. So when I go to either https://www.eqalix.com or https://eqalix.com/wp-login, I get an under construction page, with contact fields, presumably for the owner of the site to have contact information to get back to the visitor. So what do you mean go to that panel and log in and look through the Posts and Pages? if there was a prompt for me to enter a user name and password, I would have. So how do I get to such log in fields from the eqalix.com page? Many thanks!
