I’m trying to use IFTTT but after reading all the topics I started to realize I need to locate the right url. But I honestly don’t have a clue where to find it. I have 2 folders in my FTP, one labeled WordPress and the other WP… it seems all my installs fall in the WordPress folder, but I can’t determine what the url would be. I’ve tried several combinations with no luck! My site is https://www.savannahnatural.com if that helps at all…

When you go to your Dashboard, the directory below /wp-admin/ is your install directory.

So, if you have a blog at example.com and your Dashboard is at example.com/wordpress/wp-admin/ your install directory is /wordpress/

Or, if you have a blog at example.com and your Dashboard is at example.com/wp-admin/ your install directory is just example.com

James, thanks, but entering https://savannahnatural.com/wordpress/ into IFTTT.com as my blog URL didn’t work.

Now tell me if this is normal:

I have a two wp-admin directories. One is under WordPress and the other is directly under public_html….

So even if it sits in wp-admin just https://savannahnatural.com should work, right?!

I don’t mean to ask dumb questions, but this is very new to me!

You may need to ask IFTTT about this, but from what I see, https://savannahnatural.com/ is your “blog URL.”

    James,

Thank you for even taking the time to respond! I will contact IFTTT. I wasn’t sure who to contact because seemingly the placement of my blog in my directories is all on me.

Let’s hope between my hosting provider or IFTTT I come up with a solution!

Just an update IFTTT was contacted and they said there were some issues that occur occasionally and that I would have to create other recipes to get it to work. I haven’t done that yet, but I have clear direction on how to get it done now.

Thanks to all who took the time to respond.
