Where is my edit image button?

  • Any idea where my Edit Image button has gone or what can I do to get it back. I have wordpress installed on 2 different servers and one has the button and one doesn’t.

    Click on Media and then Edit for one of your images. When you get the image up there should be an edit image button on that page. Like I said one has it and one doesn’t.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    Ok, I actually found the problem on another post. I had switched servers and apparently the new one was not set up for the GD plugin on php.

    Here is the solution
